Ultimate lust item this summer!

So summer is right around the corner (actually pretty much arrived already in Hong Kong), and of course it is the best excuse to stock up some new items. The neon trend is huge right now and chiffon still being a big staple, but today I'm not gonna talk about clothes.

I'm ran across this on facebook, Net-a-porter.com's update to be exact, and I instantly fell in love with this pair of sunnies. They are Carven's Anastasie flip-up round-frame acetate sunglasses. My favourite part though is how it can flip-up (duh, as you can tell from the name):

I also love that it comes in this gorgeous hot pink, the bold green and of course the classic brown. This is a total new spin on Lady gaga's mickey mouse sunnies, but so much more chic. But it goes without saying, chic comes at a /painful/ price. GBP216.67 to be exact, and that's about HKD2700. Ouch.

Even though I'll have to look for a far cheaper alternative, it is definitely an inspiration for me this summer to go bold and accessorize. 

In other news, what do you think about these? 

At a fraction of Carven's price, I think they might just make up for not being able to get the Anastasies. Plus black helps me mourn. Tis' true what Gaga says, something shitty must be going on somewhere.
